Hi. So i just received the new accessible IPod with speech, and am trying to figure out how to sync my music and get speech working on it. I read that apon initial hook up to your comp via the USB connection, that it will automatically synch the needed speech files using the speech setting you already are using on your comp and incoorperate that into the IPod format or whatever. So I hooked it up and I think its currently organizing my music and everything and syncing and transfering stuff to my IPod. But not positive. It could just be organizing my music library into the ITunes on my computer. But I can't look to see what's on my IPod without speech first obviously. So not sure how to turn it on if I need to even do that on the Ipod itsself. Anyway, if I haven't confused people with this post, if anyone owns this IPod, and has any suggestions for transfering music and stuff or setting up the speech, any input would be very helpful and appreciated.
Thanks. Mallory

I'd like to hear about this myself, as I'm planning on getting one in the near future. I wonder how it works, what differences there will be in this genoration unlike the previous ones.

Theirs a topic on here that does that. look for the accessible ipod has arrived. As to magical's question, go to where your ipod is in the source list, and make sure that the checkbox for speech is checked, and hit apply. THen it will say up at the top, generating spoken menus for xxxxxxx's ipod. Let that finish, and that should be done. It will use the speech setting that is under control pannel speech.
